NEWS AND EVENTS

This Saturday, March 7th, SGC will be selling slices of pizza provided by our sponsor, Little Caesars and raffle tickets for 100 wings from HOOTERS to help raise money for the cycling team.  A raffle ticket is $5 and the drawing will be held Sunday after the road race.  You do not have to be present to win.  Raffle tickets may also be purchased at Cycle World.

Also, new SGC T-shirts will be available for purchasing.  So be sure to stop by the SGC pits Saturday.  Look for the SGC and Little Caesars banner after turn number one on the crit course.  See you at the races.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RACING

Here it is.  You love it and you hate it.  6hr Mountain bike racing.  The first of four 6hr series begins March 14th.  Last year all of SGC's MTB team members finished in the top ten of each class with a 3rd and 5th overall placement in the Expert Division. This year a few team members will be racing the series on single speeds.  That's right, 6hrs with one gear.   OOF!

ROAD BIKE RACING

The season is upon us.  March 7th and 8th is the 4th Annual road race weekend held here in downtown Albany.  Volunteers are needed to help make this race run smooth and safe.  Click Here for more information on volunteering.  Please come out and support your local racers.
